CHRISTINE NYLAND is a New York City based actor, writer, and filmmaker.
As an actor, she is best known for her work in Shudder Original, An Unquiet Grave. Other feature film credits include: Distress Signals, Summoners, The Garden Left Behind and the upcoming Recluse, from director Henry Chaisson.
As a filmmaker, she created Wrinkles & Sprinkles: The Animated Series for MeansTV, and is the writer and director of the horror-short Implied Monsters. More recently, she has been experimenting with 16mm for her short film, Strictly Platonic. She also served as co-writer and producer on An Unquiet Grave, Distress Signals and Summoners.
Her feature-length screenplay, How to be Held, was an Austin Film Festival semi-finalist, and she is currently pitching it to anyone who will listen.
